Fundraising   »   Spirit Night

Spirit Night is Chick-fil-A's way of helping your organization raise money. Spirit Nights are used primarily by schools but can be equally as effective with sports teams, youth groups, and other non-profit groups. Chick-fil-A of Conway has designated Thursday as Spirit Night. A percentage of sales earned between the times of 5:30pm and 8:30pm on your designated Spirit Night will be donated to your organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is required of you and your organization?
The success of your Spirit Night is completely up to you. Chick-fil-A provides the location, a flyer to promote the event, the Chick-fil-A cow and other promotional items. You are required to actively promote your Spirit Night by providing the hoopla and excitement that encourages others to attend.

How do you get people excited about your Spirit Night?

  • Often Coke and Pepsi will give you a free banner and even letter it for you. Ask your beverage vendor about this service. These banners can be placed in high traffic zones to ensure some exposure.
  • If available daily announcements over school intercoms or during group gatherings will make the most of your time.
  • Pass out Spirit Night flyers to students or group members to distribute through the community. When passing out the flyers take an opportunity to talk about your reasons for fund raising. Make sure you personally invite them out for your Spirit Night.
  • Chick-fil-A often offers an Ice-Dream party to Elementary Schools whose class has the most attendees. The Ice-Dream party offers and added boost to increase interest in your Spirit Night.
  • Other Organizations can try selling raffle tickets for an item during the week and hold the drawing on your Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A. If an item is to be awarded it has to be impressive enough to warrant some excitement form your participants. Try asking local business owners for donations or giveaways. Make a basket of all the free items you have collected.
  • Hold an auction at Chick-fil-A, selling items donated by local businesses. This will bring people out for more that one event thereby increasing the number of people who eat at Chick-fil-A. The more people who eat the more profit and the greater donation your organization receives.
  • Talk to your local news paper, TV stations and radio to help you promote your event. Most non profit organizations have a greater chance of news coverage if they just ask.

Chick-fil-A would have to okay other ideas to promote your Spirit Night further. The percentage of our donation is dependant on sales. Please ask Adam Lanier about the percentage of sales you are able to receive and to book your Spirit Night.
